With the introduction of CCC in 2002, the certification authorities AQSIQ and CNCA published the “First Catalogue of Products Subject to China Compulsory Certification (CCC)”. This catalogue of products requiring certification was subject to continuous changes and has expanded since its first issue. A CCC certification must therefore be conducted for the product groups appearing in the list and the announcements of AQSIQ and CNCA.

The following table provides a brief overview of products for which certification is mandatory. You will find further useful information on our Frequently Asked Questions page (FAQ), for information on exporting products that do not require CCC, see our chapter about customs clearance in China. With CNCA announcement no. 11, 2018 and no. 44, 2019 some products were excluded from the CCC certification with immediate effect. Affected products are marked with a (A) in the list below. Even though no mandatory CCC certification is required for these products anymore, it is now possible to obtain a voluntary certification in order to proof compliance with the relevant Chinese regulations. All products marked with (B) have to apply for a CCC Self-Declaration certificate.
